AMAYA ET TOUALE
2004

Compagnie de l’Ombre
A piece played by Alain Delval,
Isabelle Vandermeersch and Jean Jadin
Amaya and Toualé have been friends since childhood. Amaya used to laugh a lot. Everyone liked her laugh. Then, little by little, she starts laughing less and less until, one day, nothing. Her friend Toualé will brave all dangers to find Amaya's laughter again.
Inspired by the Tangram's game, a ballet of geometric shapes takes the spectator from one set to another, carried by the live music. Its originality also comes from the interventions of the storyteller who comes out of the puppet theater and comments on the story.
